willu takes your privacy seriously. willu is owned operated by Votenet Solutions, Inc. We are committed to establishing and maintaining policies and procedures which protect the privacy of your personal information. willu provides a messaging service that enables individuals and organizations to have a conversation ("Conversation") with targeted audiences via a hashtag ("Hashtag") through our App or by text message using our short code number, "WILLU" or 94558.
Our "Customer" or "Hashtag Owner" is the individual or organization, who has purchased and controls the hashtag ("Hashtag"). A "Follower" is non-customer who follows or participates in a "Conversation" with the Hashtag Owner. Collectively, Hashtag Owners and Followers are "Users" of our Service.
We welcome your comments regarding this Privacy Statement and our privacy practices. If you have questions about this statement or believe that we have not adhered to it, please contact us. Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. A child under the age of 13 is not authorized use our Services. However, we believe that protecting the privacy of children is of paramount importance. Therefore, we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act regarding the personal information of children under the age of 13. A summary of our policy regarding children's privacy is below:
Information we automatically collect about your computer or wireless devices (such as your IP address, cookie ID, and other unique device identifiers);
Information we collect from third parties, including through any social media widgets or third party tracking services;
The name, mobile telephone number or email address used to sign up for our Services; and
The Hashtag Owner's credit card information which is transmitted and stored in a secured vault, by our third party service provider.
Information is stored until a request is made by the child or his/her parent or guardian to remove any of such information.
Unfortunately, despite diligent efforts, there is always the risk that a third party may impermissibly access a child's information. If you believe that a third party has obtained your child's information, please contact us immediately at email@example.com.
Generally, the information we collect is used in order for the child to access and use our Services. We share the name a child uses to register for our Services. We do not share the child's mobile telephone number or email with other Users. However, a Hashtag Owner may request additional information from or enter into a direct conversation with a child. Please note that we do not control the text conversation or the Hashtag Owner's website.
We will never sell a child's information to third parties. Depending upon the circumstances, we may share collected information with (a) law enforcement or others as needed to protect or defend our rights and the rights of others; (b) partners we hire to handle certain activities and technical services; (c) advertisers or third parties with whom we may partner to provide you additional content, or services; (d) business partners who jointly offer a service or feature on our Services (e) in the event of a corporate transaction; and (f) otherwise with consent.
We may use a number of service providers and other such companies in order to provide the services offered through our Services. For example, we use a third party to process to credit card payments. These companies may use their own unique identifiers, and their use of these technologies is within their control and not ours.
Our Services also may contain links to other sites or links to social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Services and to read the privacy statements of each and every site that collects personally identifiable information.
You can access, update and correct any information about your child that we have collected. You may also direct us to delete such information and refuse to allow us to collect any additional information about your child or use such child's information. You may also agree to the collection of your child's personal information without agreeing to the disclosure of such information to third parties, other than third parties that provide support for the internal operations of our Services.
Parents and guardians should also be aware that schools where their children attend have the ability to disclose certain personal information about students pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Conversations are intended to be public information. Hashtag Owners and Followers are solely responsible for the content of their Conversations, and we do not control the theme or questions asked.
We obtain certain data from you when you use our Services. Data obtained from you in connection with a Conversation include your name, mobile telephone number, your mobile service provider's name, and the date, time, and content of your messages ("Personal Information"). When you use our Services, you consent to the collection of your Personal Information. We also collect the Hashtag Owner's credit card information which is transmitted and stored highly secure location by our third party service provider.
We never sell your Personal Information. We share the name a Follower uses at the point of registration. We do not share a Follower's phone number, or email with a Hashtag Owner or Hashtag Owner's phone number or email with a Follower. We may use your Personal Information to provide the services you've requested, including services that display customized content. We may also use your Personal Information and aggregated personal and non-personal information for auditing, research and analysis to operate and improve our technologies and services. Any agents to whom we grant access your Personal Information are contractually barred from using or releasing that information outside of the specific task we have asked them to perform. We have various agreements, policies, safeguards and certifications to ensure that these agents do not sell, distribute or use your Personal Information. We may also share your Personal Information with third parties in limited circumstances to comply with legal processes, prevent fraud or imminent harm, and ensure the security of our network and services.
willu does not control your Conversations. You may choose to share your Personal Information in a Conversation. Disclosures of Personal Information by a Follower are visible only to the Hashtag Owner. Disclosers of Personal Information by the Hashtag Owner are visible to all Hashtag Followers.
At this time, you may not opt out of or limit our use of your Personal
Information for any of the uses that we described in
As is true of most online services, our Services gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data. We link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.
Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by our marketing partners, affiliates, and service providers. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking user's movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.
At this time, we do not process or respond to any web browser's "do not track" or similar mechanism.
We never sell information about our Users. We also do not use or share the personal information you provide to us online other than as described below without first giving you a chance to opt out, or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. We will not sell any of your personal information. We do not supplement personally identifiable information with information from any other sources.

We do not sell personal information. We also do not share your information with any third parties except under the following very limited circumstances:
Credit Card Services: We use an integrated third party service, Stripe, Inc. to process credit cards. Our App will capture your credit card information and submit it directly to the third party service without storing it on our systems. Agents Acting on Our Behalf: We may share some of your information with other business partners who provide us with technical services. They will be granted access to only that information which is necessary for them to do their jobs. Any agents to whom we grant access to your information are contractually barred from using or releasing that information outside of the specific task we have asked them to perform. We have various agreements, policies, safeguards and certifications to ensure that these agents do not sell, distribute or use this information.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information pursuant to judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants, orders, bankruptcy proceedings or similar legal process. We may also disclose your information if it is required to comply with the law, or with legal process served upon us, defend our legal rights or our property, or to act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of our clients, employees, partners, or members of the public.
Our Services may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Services and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Statement applies solely to information collected by our Services.
Our Services may include Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our Services. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Services, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly by us. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy statement of the company providing it.
Our Services offers publicly accessible blogs. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. Our blog is managed by third party application that may require you to register to post a comment. We do not have access or control of the information posted to the blog. You will need to contact or login into the third party application if you want the personal information that was posted to the comments section removed. We may post customer testimonials on our Services which may contain personally identifiable information such as the customer's name. We obtain the customer's consent to post their name along with their testimonial prior to posting the testimonial.
willu does not maintain any physical servers or storage systems of our own. We partner with Amazon Web Services, Inc. and Twilio, Inc. for our computing power, database storage and content delivery. Our Services have security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the data under our control. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to help ensure that your information is secure, and we send a verification code to a user's mobile device to authenticate registration and possession. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of your information. No method of transmission over the Internet or mobile devices, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We advise you to enable the security features provided on your mobile device for further security.
If you are a Customer, you can access, update and correct your personal information by selecting "User Profile" on the menu for your Services. To get a complete record of the personal information associated with your User Profile, to change any information, or request that we delete your User Profile, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you request a change to your personal information, or you request us to delete your User Profile, we will make the change or delete your User Profile within 30 days after we receive your request.
You can also permanently delete your User Profile or a Hashtag. If you delete your User Profile or Hashtag, your Conversations, or the Conversations related to the deleted Hashtag, will not be viewable. Keep in mind that search engines and other third parties may still retain copies of your public information, even after you have deleted a Hashtag or User Profile.
From time to time we send promotional materials by email, as described above in "The Way We Use Information." Any email you receive from us will include an "unsubscribe" link that you can use to prohibit us from sending any additional information, and our postal address.
We will retain your information for as long as your User Profile is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your User Profile or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us by email at email@example.com. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you change your mind about receiving information from us or about sharing certain of your information with third parties that is not covered in this section, send us a request specifying your issue. Simply email, call or write us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will occasionally update this Privacy Statement to reflect changes in our services and customer feedback. When we post changes to this Privacy Statement, we will revise the "last revised" date at the top of this statement.
