Willu is committed to protecting the privacy of the information you share with us when you access and use our website, App or SMS text service ("Services"). We have created this Privacy Statement to disclose how we collect, use and disseminate personal information you may provide us when you use our Services. It describes what information we collect, how we use that information, whom we share it with, how you can access or change your information, how you can contact us, and other important information about how we safeguard your privacy. This statement is incorporated into our "Terms of Use," which is the document that governs our relationship with you. When you use our Services, and therefore accept our Terms of Use, you are also accepting and agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Statement.   1. Who We Are And What We Do

    Willu takes your privacy seriously. Willu is owned operated by willu llc. We are committed to establishing and maintaining policies and procedures which protect the privacy of your personal information. Willu provides a private messaging platform that enables individuals and organizations to have a conversation ("Conversation") with targeted audiences via a hashtag ("Hashtag") through our App or by text message using our short code number, 94558.

    Our "Customer" or "Hashtag Owner" is the individual or organization, who has purchased and controls the hashtag ("Hashtag") . A "Follower" is non-customer who follows or participates in a "Conversation" with the Hashtag Owner. Collectively, Hashtag Owners and Followers are "Users" of our Service.

  3. Our Commitment to Children's Privacy

    Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. A child under the age of 13 is not authorized use our Services. However, we believe that protecting the privacy of children is of paramount importance. Therefore, we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act regarding the personal information of children under the age of 13. A summary of our policy regarding children's privacy is below:

    1. What information is collected?

      Information we automatically collect about your computer or wireless devices (such as your IP address, cookie ID, and other unique device identifiers);

      Information we collect from third parties, including through any social media widgets or third party tracking services;

      The name, mobile telephone number or email address used to sign up for our Services;

      We store a child's information until a request is made by the child or his/her parent or guardian to remove any of such information.

      Generally, the information we collect is used in order for the child to access and use our Services. We do not share the child's name, mobile telephone number or email with other Users. However, a Hashtag Owner may request additional information from a child if the child enters into a Conversation with the Hashtag Owner or visits the Hashtag Owner's website. Please note that we do not control the text conversation or the Hashtag Owner's website.

    4. Is information shared with third parties?

      We will never sell a child's information to third parties. Depending upon the circumstances, we may share collected information with (a) law enforcement or others as needed to protect or defend our rights and the rights of others; (b) partners we hire to handle certain activities and technical services; (c) advertisers or third parties with whom we may partner to provide you additional content, or services; (d) business partners who jointly offer a service or feature on our Services (e) in the event of a corporate transaction; and (f) otherwise with consent.

    5. What information may others collect?

      We may use a number of service providers and other such companies in order to provide the services offered through our Services. For example, we use a third party to process credit card payments. These companies may use their own unique identifiers, and their use of these technologies is within their control and not ours.

      Our Services also may contain links to other sites or links to social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Services and to read the privacy statements of each and every site that collects personally identifiable information.

    6. Control over your children's information.

      You can access, update and correct any information about your child that we have collected. You may also direct us to delete such information and refuse to allow us to collect any additional information about your child or use such child's information. You may also agree to the collection of your child's personal information without agreeing to the disclosure of such information to third parties other than third parties that provide support for the internal operations of our Services.

    Parents and guardians should also be aware that schools where their children attend have the ability to disclose certain personal information about students pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).   4. Text Message Content

    Conversations are intended to be public information. Hashtag Owners and Followers are solely responsible for the content of their Conversations, and we do not control the theme or questions asked.

  5. Data We Collect

    We obtain certain data from you when you use our Services. Data obtained from you in connection with a Conversation include your name, mobile telephone number, your mobile service provider's name, and the date, time, and content of your messages ("Personal Information"). If you are a Hashtag Owner, we also collect your password. When you use our Services, you consent to the collection of your Personal Information.

  6. Data We Share

    We never sell your Personal Information. However, we may use your Personal Information to provide the services you've requested, including services that display customized content. We may also use your Personal Information for auditing, research and analysis to operate and improve our technologies and services. Any agents to whom we grant access your Personal Information are contractually barred from using or releasing that information outside of the specific task we have asked them to perform. We have various agreements, policies, safeguards and certifications to ensure that these agents do not sell, distribute or use your Personal Information. We may also share your Personal Information with third parties in limited circumstances to comply with legal processes, prevent fraud or imminent harm, and ensure the security of our network and services. We may share aggregated and non-personal information with third parties.

  7. Opting Out Of The Collection Or Use Of Personal Data

    You may opt out of use of your Personal Information for any of the uses that we described in Section 6 by sending your request via email to help@willu.com.

  8. Tracking Technologies We Use

    As is true of most online services, our Services gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data. We link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.

    Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by willu and our marketing partners, affiliates, or analytics or service providers. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking user's movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

    A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. Our Services use cookies. We link the information we store in cookies to the personally identifiable information you submit when you use our Services . You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject persistent cookies, you will still be able to use our Services. If you reject session ID cookies, you will be able to view our Services, but may miss out on some functionality.

    We use Local Storage Objects (LSOs) such as Flash to store content information and preferences. Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on our site or to display advertising based upon your web browsing activity use LSOs such as HTML5 to collect and store information.     We may partner with a third party to either display advertising on our Services or to manage our advertising on other sites. You will continue to receive generic ads.

    At this time, we do not process or respond to any web browser's "do not track" or similar mechanism.

  9. The Way We Use Your Information

    We never sell information about our Users. We also do not use or share the personal information you provide to us online other than as described below without first giving you a chance to opt out, or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. We will not sell any of your personal information. We do not supplement personally identifiable information with information from any other sources.

    We use the personal information you provide to us as follows:

    To ensure our Services are relevant to your needs by evaluating the effectiveness of our Services and services.

    To deliver services, such as training or Services.

    To help us create and publish content.

    To alert you to product upgrades, special offers, updated information and other new services.

    To allow access to limited-entry areas of our site as appropriate.

    We do not sell personal information. We also do not share your information with any third parties except under the following very limited circumstances:

    Credit Card Services: We use a third party service to process credit cards. When you make a payment, you will be directed to the third party website in order to process the payment. The payment website will collect information necessary to process your payment. This may include your name, address, telephone number and credit card information. The website may also use cookies and other technologies. We do not control the payment website.

    Agents Acting on Our Behalf: We may share some of your information with other business partners who provide us with technical services. They will be granted access to only that information which is necessary for them to do their jobs. Any agents to whom we grant access to your information are contractually barred from using or releasing that information outside of the specific task we have asked them to perform. We have various agreements, policies, safeguards and certifications to ensure that these agents do not sell, distribute or use this information.

    For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information pursuant to judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants, orders, bankruptcy proceedings or similar legal process. We may also disclose your information if it is required to comply with the law, or with legal process served upon us, defend our legal rights or our property, or to act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of our clients, employees, partners, or members of the public.

    Acquisition: We may share information in the event of an acquisition of our company, merger of our company with another, or acquisition by our company of another. We will notify you if your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

  11. Third Party Tracking

    We also use third-party tracking services that use scripts, frames, and other tracking technologies to track non-personal information about visitors to our Site in the aggregate. Our Privacy Statement does not cover the use of cookies by our service providers. We do not have access or control over such service provider cookies. Our service providers use session ID cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our Services.

    Our Services may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Services and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Statement applies solely to information collected by our Services.

  13. Social Media Widgets

    Our Services may include Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our Services. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Services, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly by us. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy statement of the company providing it.

  14. Blog

    Our Services offers publicly accessible blogs. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. Our blog is managed by third party application that may require you to register to post a comment. We do not have access or control of the information posted to the blog. You will need to contact or login into the third party application if you want the personal information that was posted to the comments section removed.   15. Customer Testimonials

    We may post customer testimonials on our Services which may contain personally identifiable information such as the customer's name. We obtain the customer's consent to post their name along with their testimonial prior to posting the testimonial.

  16. Hosting Privacy

    Willu may host Services with a highly secure third party data center that provides hardware, operating system software, and connectivity. All hosted environments meet or exceed physical security requirements, including:

    A single point of entry to hosting areas;

    A monitored main point of entry, with additional points of entry for emergency use only;

    Surveillance cameras in the hosting facility to monitor access to and use of the facility;

    Access validation with biometric identity check; and

    Access to willu's hardware by willu authorized persons only.

    Additionally, personnel or authorized agents of willu who have a demonstrated need to access our Services or databases for a particular task have access to the Services and databases only as needed for the particular task.

  17. Our Commitment to Data Security

    Our Services have security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the data under our control. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to protect information using both server authentication and data encryption to help ensure that your information is safe, secure, and available only to you. Our Services implement an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications in a secure server environment that uses firewalls, passwords, and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Finally, we provide unique usernames and passwords that must be entered each time a Hashtag Owner logs in to our Services. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of your information. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

  18. How To Access Or Correct Your Information Or Limit Your Disclosures

    If you are a Customer, you can access, update and correct your personal information or change your password by selecting "manage account" on the menu for your Services. To get a complete record of the personal information associated with your account, to change any information, or request that we delete your account, please contact us by email at help@willu.com. If you request a change to your personal information, or you request us to delete your account, we will make the change or delete your account within 30 days after we receive your request.

    You can also permanently delete your account or a Hashtag. If you delete your account or Hashtag, your Conversations, or the Conversations related to the deleted Hashtag, will not be viewable. Keep in mind that search engines and other third parties may still retain copies of your public information, even after you have deleted a Hashtag or account.

    From time to time we send promotional materials by email, as described above in "The Way We Use Information." Any email you receive from us will include an "unsubscribe" link that you can use to prohibit us from sending any additional information, and our postal address.

    We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us by email at help@willu.com. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

    If you change your mind about receiving information from us or about sharing certain of your information with third parties that is not covered in this section, send us a request specifying your issue. Simply write us at help@willu.com.

  19. Changes to This Statement

    We will occasionally update this Privacy Statement to reflect changes in our services and customer feedback. When we post changes to this Privacy Statement, we will revise the "last revised" date at the top of this statement. If there are material changes to this Policy Statement, or material changes in the way we use your personal information, we will notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes prior to implementing them, and giving you the option to opt-out of the new policy or procedures, or by sending you a notification of the changes directly, prior to implementing them through email or text message.
